CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading company in their chosen field, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant on a Fixed-Term contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing critical support to a busy finance team, including assisting with the management of the accounts receivable ledger. This position is a short-term contract and therefore suits an applicant currently immediately available for employment.
Management of accounts receivable ledger.
Liaising with internal departments to coordinate information required to support collection process.
Manage process to collect outstanding balances from customers via telephone and email.
Reconciliation of customer statements.
Posting of receipts from customers.
Assistance with vendor reconciliations.
Ad hoc tasks to assist chief accountant as required.
Any formal education related to Accounting/Finance will be considered an advantage.
Previous, relevant accounting and finance experience is a must.
Experience in collection management (Credit Control) will be highly desirable.
Any knowledge of Navision will be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in Greek & English (Written & Spoken).
Strong Excel skills.
Good team player.
