CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate Services to clients across the world, we are seeking to recruit an Enterprise Applications Specialist to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for the enterprise applications landscape from business requirement analysis, development of functional specifications, solution design, implementation and operation. You will hold 8+ years of relevant and demonstrable experience and be fluent in English.
Partner with business units and functions to understand requirements, propose new processes, and help with day-to-day activities including recurring and year-end processes through technological approaches / solutions.
Planning related to the tasks associated with business analysis, the software development lifecycle (waterfall, iterative, Agile) and IT business applications service management (ITIL).
Maintain process flow, configuration, operation and user documentation.
Provide functional support for both business process issues / business applications and resolve technical (server and system application) issues.
Develop and execute system testing and test plans as required as well as coordinate and conduct internal user support and training.
Identify, document application integration requirements and design, implement, maintain as appropriate with vendor(s) support.
Maintain a stable and accurate Applications production and test instance that meets user / client needs in line with compliance and audit policies.
Monitor vendor updates on regular basis and stay informed with new features / approaches / trends of the relevant enterprise applications and the industry by attending relevant trainings / conferences and meetings with vendors.
Collaborate with other IT functions for the implementation of the required IT infrastructure.
Provide operational support and collaborate with external vendors for resolving problems on business applications.
Manage assigned projects and program components in a team working environment (internal and external) to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Bachelor’s in Computer science, Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years functional and technical experience in business applications lifecycle (development – implementation - support) in Finance, Corporate, Document Management, Compliance, Practice Management systems, change management, process automation, etc. including requirements gathering, design, configuration, unit testing and integration testing.
Experience dealing with a complex IT ecosystem.
Experience in Database Systems, data-warehouses, report development, data analytics including SQL, DB Reporting Services, Power BI, ASP.Net.
Project management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills to enable multitasking and timely follow-up.
Ability to use own initiative, prioritize and work independently.
Fluent in English.
