CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International provider of Corporate & Fiduciary Services with regional offices in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a highly experienced, dynamic and suitably well-qualified Head of Group Finance to join their team of professionals in Nicosia. The Head of Group Finance oversees the day-to-day activities of the Cyprus Office as well as supporting other international office locations within The Group and ensures the finance function is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts for client companies.
Management of the Group budget and treasury.
Development growth, tax and finance strategies.
Overseeing the statutory reporting of our client portfolio.
Preparation of management accounts and variance analysis.
New project evaluations.
Review and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Preparation of cash flow forecasts and relevant reports with suggestion for dividends distribution to the Directors.
Overseeing the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
Ensuring all reporting requirements for the listed entities are complied with.
Overseeing the company's transaction processing systems and implementing automated processes.
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction and preparing growth strategies.
Facilitate the restructuring of the group from a finance perspective.
Provide financial input, prepare presentations and write business plans per brand and per entity.
Liaise with Group finance managers for monthly entity reporting.
Develop new project evaluations.
Develop White Papers and other publications with the marketing department.
Attend relevant industry events when required.
Develop new corporate products based on industry feedback.
Prepare balanced factual information on various projects for decision making by the group CEO.
Motivate staff and ensure deadlines are respected and efficiency optimised in all areas.
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA).
ICPAC practicing licence holder.
Working experience of at least 3 years in a similar role in Cyprus is a must.
Up-to-date IFRS knowledge.
General knowledge of local tax and VAT legislation.
General knowledge of Maltese tax and VAT legislation will be considered an advantage.
Ability to switch between macro view and micro level.
A “can do” positive attitude is preferred. A “will do” attitude is a must.
